Escape

Game Description

Escape is a first-person sprinter. The player is dropped into a procedurally-generated maze and must escape before time runs out.

Initially, the player is plunged into complete darkness and must rely on their flashlight to find their way around. As time progresses, the maze “awakens.” Lights flicker on, helping the player find their way, but enemies activate as well.

In addition to keeping an eye on the timer, players must manage their health and flashlight battery.

Each level increases in difficulty, resulting in larger mazes with greater enemy densities.

My Role: Solo Developer
  • Implented the game and UI logic with C#.
  • Created and implemented an algorithm to procedurally generate levels.
  • Created 3D models, including the maze tiles, using Blender.
